Oh, hey!
I had a little boy in March 2023 and I chose to experience a natural home birth. Now I’m simply a new mom with a bajillion questions about a bajillion different things living by this simple phrase:
I’ll figure it out.
Not so simple, eh?
While working with a midwife during my pregnancy and my experiences as a mom so far, I have indeed lived up to that phrase. Maybe something I share here will work for you like it’s worked for me. Or maybe you’ll just be happy to know that there’s another crazy mom out there 😉
I am currently becoming certified as a personal trainer. My hope is to specialize in women’s health, specifically prenatal and postpartum fitness as well as diastasis-recti recovery (fancy word for ab separation).
I know how hard it can be to feel like yourself again when you have a “mom-bod” (currently describing myself). When I finish my certifications, I hope to help you get that “Mom-Bod” that you feel sexy in. As long as you are ready, that is.
The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding. And in order to transform, you must surrender some part of you.
Every mom deserves to feel sexy AF and part of that is having a healthy state of heart in all possible aspects of life: physically, mentally, emotionally, and, if you’re into it, even spiritually. Is it easy? Hell no. But honestly, it’s the greatest gift you can give, not only to yourself, but to your kids. Here’s to becoming a happy, healthy mama.
Now, I’m either connecting with the earth barefoot or I’m rocking the streets in heels. I spend my Mica time dancing in hoops, in silks, on poles, and on chairs. I am on a mission to build my own personal library that only holds books I have actually read and enjoyed. I’m obsessed with curly hair (naturally I have straight hair, so I married into it) and I adore the feeling of being a confident woman, wife, and mother.
Glad you’re here.
